The purpose of Language Access Services is to ensure that all Limited English Proficient (LEP), speech disabled, deaf and hard of hearing patients and surrogate decision-makers are able to understand their medical conditions, treatment options and receive quality patient care.
Our mission is to deliver safe, high-quality care and to engage the community in the improvement of health and wellness through comprehensive interpreting and translating services.
Our vision is to facilitate a direct relationship between health care providers and limited English proficient patients and families through a full range of seamless language services, incorporating innovative ideas and technology. Our goal is to provide access to health care services in our community through culturally competent programs.
